Vedic Astrology is an ancient holy science. In Sanskrit it is called Jyotish that means literally : The light of God.

Jyot means light and Ish means God.
For it shows not only the past as the laws of karma but also the future possibilities and hidden talents that
we must discover in order to become fulfilled and serve the purpose of our birth.
Jyotish is widely used in India and across the East as a spiritual and mundane guidance.
But Jyotish is more than a divination tool. It is based on scientific astronomy, and uses mathematics and
the ancient teachings of Vedic Psychology and spirituality.

It is from those holy teachings that we learn that
the paths of our life are actually based on the individual
patterns that govern our minds, hearts, souls and bodies. These personal characteristics create our own
soul
chartered territory. In the course of time, these eventually manifest in the tendencies of our minds and
hearts, the shape and he
alth of our bodies and in the events of our destiny.
It means that we project on the field of destiny that we are – as it has been accumulated from many lifetimes
loving, thinking, doing and undoing.
As you saw you must reap. It is called Karma.

But the fulfillment of destiny is more that the law of retribution. The Vedic teachings show us that there are
four goals of  human life.

Around those goals and the major cycles of our lives, Jyotish provides an understanding of who we are,
where are headed and how to fulfill our destinies.
The science of Jyotish is based on the sidereal calculations of
the maps in the sky as depicted at the
moment of our
birth. The ancient teachings tell us that these charts can be used as signs that show the
way in which the
will of God . is manifested for each one of us.
